Terms and Conditions of Trade
1. These Terms and Conditions apply to all goods and services supplied by Hamilton Air Conditioning Ltd to the Customer. By requesting a quote, booking a service, or purchasing a product, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Quotes and Estimates
- All quotes provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise specified.
- Quotes are based on the information provided by the Customer and, where applicable, a site inspection. Hamilton Air Conditioning Ltd reserves the right to alter the quote if unforeseen circumstances arise during installation or servicing.
3. Pricing and Payment
- Prices include GST unless stated otherwise.
- Payment is due upon completion of the work or as specified in the invoice.
- We accept payment via bank transfer or credit card (surcharges may apply).
- Hamilton Air Conditioning Ltd reserves the right to require a deposit before commencing work, particularly for large installations or specialised equipment orders.
4. Installation and Access
- The Customer must ensure that the installation site is clear and accessible for our technicians at the agreed-upon time.
- While we take every care during installation, we are not liable for minor cosmetic damage to surfaces (e.g., paint or wallpaper) that may occur during the normal course of work.
- Any electrical upgrades required to support the new system (e.g., switchboard upgrades) are the Customer’s responsibility unless specifically included in the quote.
5. Warranty and Liability
- Workmanship: We stand by the quality of our Kiwi workmanship and offer a guarantee on all installation labour.
- Products: Warranty on heat pumps and air conditioning units (e.g., Mitsubishi, Daikin, Panasonic) is provided by the manufacturer. Hamilton Air Conditioning Ltd will assist in facilitating warranty claims where possible.
- We are not liable for any loss or damage caused by misuse, lack of maintenance, or unauthorised repairs performed by third parties.
6. Ownership
- Ownership of all goods and materials supplied remains with Hamilton Air Conditioning Ltd until full payment has been received.
7. Cancellations
- Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a service or installation. Failure to do so may incur a cancellation fee.
8. Privacy
- We value your privacy. Your personal information (such as name, address, and contact details) is collected solely for the purpose of providing our services and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
